Wembley property developer on Parade at local college
As part of its commitment to encouraging the future of the construction industry, London property developer Anthology was pleased to team up with local college, the College of North West London, to provide Level 3 and 4 Construction BTEC students an insight into the industry and the career benefits within the sector.
The Anthology Wembley Parade team visited the college to give the students an introduction to the company and its nearby development, Wembley Parade, which many of the students will pass on their daily journeys in and out of college. Victor De Bie, Project Executive, and Brad Baldock, Project Director, advised the students on the many career paths opportunities open to them within the construction and property field.
Speaking to 30 students in total, the Anthology team also provided their insights and opinions on latest trends and practices in the industry, and the ways in which these will impact the learners as they draw closer to the completion of their studies. The students were able to hear about the approach that Anthology takes to property development, and the ways in which this differs to its competitors – as well as hearing about how this approach is put into practice at Wembley Parade.
Brad Baldock, Project Director for Anthology Wembley Parade, commented: “It was fantastic to visit the College of North West London and meet the Construction students. It was a beneficial session for both parties, and it was very encouraging to hear the questions that the students had. It was great to provide the information and insight they need at this early stage of their career, in order to excel as they progress through the ranks.
“I know that for me personally, when I was starting out in the sector, hearing first hand from those already in the field was invaluable. The property sector is forever changing and developing so to be able to provide the students with the key information they need as they start this exciting journey was a great experience for myself and Victor.
“I would like to thank the team again for having us and hope that we can work together again in the future.”
This recent link up with the College of North West London comes as part of Anthology’s ongoing commitment to giving something back to the communities within which it is building. Anthology is similarly committed to encouraging the future talent of the industry, and has pledged time to engaging and working with schools and colleges across the capital, all of which are within reach of its Deptford Foundry, Hoxton Press and Hale Works developments.
For those interested in moving to the Wembley area, Anthology has a collection of homes available priced from £430,000. Call 020 3320 8220 or register your interest to be the first to receive updates.
