Anthology lends a Hale-ping hand to those in need this Christmas

Hale Works

2017 has been a great year for us, and one of the real highlights for the team has been getting started on our newest project, Hale Works, in Tottenham Hale. As we draw closer to planning approval on the site, we have been very busy acquainting ourselves with the local area and the people and businesses who make it such a vibrant and welcoming community.

At the heart of this is the Haringey Foodbank. The initiative, which is supported by The Trussell Trust, a national campaign to stop UK hunger, aims to tackle food poverty and hunger in Tottenham by providing emergency food to people in crisis.

Christmas can be a difficult time for those facing poverty, with many unable to even afford a hot meal, let alone any presents or other festivities. The Haringey Foodbank is one of the driving forces in the Tottenham area looking to combat poverty and transform the prospects of those less fortunate in the area.

Earlier this year, we were pleased to offer a helping hand to those in need in Hackney, through our work with St Anne’s Hoxton. This Christmas, we are committed to expanding these efforts in Haringey, as we embed ourselves into the community of Tottenham Hale.

As a team we are very excited to be spreading the Christmas cheer and spirit in the Tottenham area through the act of giving. If you find yourself in the area close to our Borough Market HQ, please do come by and donate any non-perishable foods to help those in need.

Haringey foodbank is within close reach of our Hale Works development, a thirty-minute stretch from White Hart Lane underground station. Anthology Hale Works will create new homes and provide vibrant commercial space to complete the multi-award winning urban village of Tottenham Hale.
