Construction industry on Parade to students of Wembley

Last Thursday (7th December), Anthology’s Wembley Parade team took time out of working on the developer’s latest project, to visit the Level 3 and 4 Construction BTEC students of the College of North West London - just around the corner from the Wembley Parade development.

Victor De Bie, Project Executive, and Brad Baldock, Project Director, visited to provide the students with an insight into a career within the property sector, and the many avenues they could pursue, on completion of their studies. Having recently graduated from University and joining the Anthology team in 2016, Victor was perfectly placed to advise the students on the best routes into the sector, and the many benefits to joining the industry.

Speaking to the students, the Anthology team provided their insights and opinions on latest trends and practices in the industry, and the ways in which these will impact the learners as they draw closer to the completion of their studies. The students were able to hear first-hand about the approach that Anthology takes to property development, and the ways in which this differs to its competitors – as well as hearing about how this approach is put into practice at Wembley Parade, a site which many of the students pass on their way to college!

This recent link up with the College of North West London comes as part of Anthology’s ongoing commitment to giving something back to the communities within which it is building. Anthology is similarly committed to encouraging the future talent of the industry, and has pledged time to engaging and working with schools and colleges across the capital, all of which are within reach of its Deptford Foundry, Hoxton Press and Wembley Parade developments.

Anthology is passionate about London and the people who live and learn within it, and is looking forward to continuing its engagement with the future generations of the property sector.
