#HaleYeah – A Sunday in Tottenham Hale
You’d be hard pressed to find yourself without something to do in Tottenham Hale especially the Hale Village area which is packed with fantastic eateries, interesting bars as well as a wealth of great entertainment venues. We’ve mapped out the best way to spend a Sunday in the area…
10:00am: Start your Sunday the right way with a visit to our good friends at Craving Coffee, who serve up the best coffee in Tottenham. Head down to their minimalist café for a delicious Sunday Brunch with a difference, why not treat yourself to one of their brilliant brunchtime cocktails, we recommend the Bloody Mary!
12.30pm: Spend the afternoon browsing Tottenham Green Market. This artisan market offers an array of fresh produce from homemade sausages to Portuguese tarts, as well as some of the Capital’s best street food to grab a spot of lunch. It’s also worth checking out the range of goods on offer at some of the quirky craft and vintage stools.
2.00pm: To help walk off all the great food indulged at the market, an afternoon in the Walthamstow Wetlands is calling for you. The Victorian reservoirs, rivers and streams that are bound by tree-lined paths are perfect for a Sunday stroll and a bit of wildlife spotting. The Wetlands are home to dozens of dragon fly and butterfly species as well as an abundance of birdlife.
4.30pm: Finish off your Sunday by heading to STYX. Located just a stone throw from Tottenham Hale, STYX plays host to a variety of live music events, as well as a number of theatre and performance events. Relax on their sun-soaked terrace and enjoy some of the fantastic cocktails they have on offer.
