#HaleYeah – Spring into the best of Tottenham’s vegan eateries!

Hale Works

We recently had planning approved for our Hale Works development which will form part of the award-winning Hale Village regeneration, and as such, we’ve been enjoying getting to know the area and the local businesses.

With Veganuary and Februdairy well behind us, many of us will be struggling to think of a clever pun for carrying our plant-based resolutions in to March. If you’re looking to keep up your natural lifestyle or adopt it anew as the brighter months spring upon us, you’d be perfectly placed to do so in Tottenham, which boasts some of London’s very best in vegan and vegetarian eateries…

Karamel Restaurant

This award-winning venue is just as smooth as its namesake, offering a menu which has been named as some of the best vegan food London has to offer. A venue which is restaurant by day and theatre by night, the brains behind the operation have gone above and beyond to create a venue which acts as a platform for North London artists looking to showcase their talents. And what’s more, should you be lucky enough to stop by, you can enjoy some of Tottenham’s best emerging talent over a vegan pizza or buddha bowl. And if the Saturday night entertainment has left you a bit worse for wear, why not head back down on a Sunday and enjoy an all-day vegan roast?!

Raw Cakes Online

The only thing better than vegan cake is vegan cake which makes its own way to your front door. Inspired by ingredients in their most natural state – with no additives or processed foods sneaking their way in – Verawnika’s cakes are cakes you can eat without regret. From vegan ‘Salted Chocolate Ultimate’ cakes to ‘Spicy Orange Jelly, Chestnut, Cinnamon Chocolate Fudge’ cakes (yes, really), there is something to tickle every taste bud and what’s more – they’re actually good for you which slightly eases the guilt of having a cake delivered to your front door!

Loving Hut

This known commodity has been spreading its message of veganism and peace all over the planet, with restaurants in over 20 countries. We’re lucky enough to have the London addition within walking distance of our Hale Works development, boasting a menu inclusive of vegan spare ribs, vegan fish and chips and more vegan cheesecake than you could possibly choose from!

Young Vegans

Slightly further afield but absolutely worth the journey, plant-based Londoners rejoiced when Camden Market got its very own vegan pie and mash shop back in 2016. What is an inspired idea in theory looks even better in practice, with the vegan all-day breakfast pie guaranteed to steal the hearts of even the deepest-rooted carnivore. Not only is the entire menu vegan, it also has a variety of gluten-free options, meaning this is a venue that caters for anyone and everyone.

If you are interested in a new home surrounded by exciting vegetarian delicacies, then keep a watch on Anthology’s progress with it’s Hale Works development.
