#HoxtonHotspots – A Walk Along the Towpath

Hoxton Press

Located just behind our award-winning Hoxton Press development is Regent’s Canal, one of the capital’s old transport arteries connecting the River Thames to the Grand Union Canal.

With Spring and the promise of warmer, lighter evenings on the horizon, we’ve put together some of our favourite spots to visit along the towpath.

The Narrowboat Pub

The only pub situated directly on Regent’s Canal in Islington and one of the borough’s hidden gems. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city streets and serving up a range of cask ales and craft beers as well as a range of seasonal dishes, the Narrowboat is the perfect stop on a walk along the canal.

The Towpath Cafe

Head east on the towpath and you’ll come to the Towpath Café. Take a seat along the canal and watch the world go by while enjoying a flat white and one of their fantastic breakfasts. What’s more it’s just a seven-minute walk from our development, Hoxton Press.

Draughts Hackney

Just off the towpath is Draughts, London’s first board game café. With hundreds of games on offer you’re bound to find something for everyone. Not only does Draughts offer a fantastic range of board games, they also serve a number of draught beers as well as delicious food. We recommend the sweet potato, caramelised onion and halloumi burger that’s served on a charcoal bun.

Victoria Park

Keep exploring further east and you’ll come to one of our favourite green spaces in London, Victoria Park. With over 86 hectares of green and open space to enjoy, Victoria Park is an ideal location to spend a sunny weekend with friends and family.
