Little Free Library comes to Hoxton Press
Alan Bennett once said: “A book is a device to ignite the imagination” and we couldn’t agree more.
We have a love for telling stories, those of our buyers, neighbours and friends. Our ethos at Anthology is to help buyers create new chapters of their stories within the homes we’re creating.
With this in mind, we felt it only right to open up our very own ‘Little Free Library’ situated just outside our Hoxton Press sales and marketing suite on Penn Street (N1 5DS).
Our little library is now open, ready and waiting to be filled with tales of old and new. The shelves are set to be brimming with story books that our neighbours can borrow, enjoy and return.
The inspiration behind the idea came from ‘Little Free Library’, a non-profit organisation based in the US. The organisation looks to inspire a love of reading, build communities and spark creativity by encouraging book exchanges across the world.
Through Little Free Libraries, millions of books are exchanged each year, increasing the access to books for readers of all ages and backgrounds.
So please, if you’re talking a stroll in Hoxton pop by and pick up a book to enjoy for as long as you like…just remember to bring it back; everyone in Hoxton deserves to relish in the same fiction as you!
