Located just moments away from our Hale Works development is the Engine Room, a fantastic community centre that serves Tottenham’s residents. Over the coming months they are hosting a range of events for all ages, that we’re sure you’d love to take part in!

Easter Festival 2019

On Saturday 6 April, the Engine Room will be hosting their annual Easter Festival which is set to draw hundreds of residents from the local area. They have a range of fantastic events lined up, including an Easter egg hunt, with a selection of chocolate eggs up for grabs as provided by Anthology. The Hale Village Balconies in Bloom competition and the Young Gardener of the Year Competition will also be launched. A children’s Easter craft zone and the inaugural Engine Room Table Tennis Tournament will keep the whole family entertained for the afternoon.

The Engine Run and The Spurs Walk

Saturday 15 June sees the second ever Engine Run take place! A 10k route that takes you through the Hale Village along the River Lea and through Tottenham Marshes. The entry fee is £20 and all funds raised will go back into supporting the excellent work done by the Engine Room, sign up here!

If you don’t think you could quite manage the Engine Run, then the Spurs Walk could be for you! Following the same route as the Engine Run, you’ll meander along the river and through Tottenham Marshes and ending in the Hale Village, entry is free.

Quiz Night

Who doesn’t love a quiz?! Well on Tuesday 19 March the Engine Room will be hosting their very own music quiz night, so you can test your music knowledge! They will have a host of refreshments available or alternatively you can B.Y.O.B, to book your place email info@engineroom.org.uk

Easter Services

St Francis at The Engine Room hold some unique Easter Weekend events, to which all are welcome:

  • Good Friday, 19 April, Interactive Stations of the Cross, come along for a meditative walk through our interactive Stations between 12-3.00pm
  • Easter Sunday 21 April
    • Dawn Easter Fire event, meet outside the Engine Room
    • 11.00am All Age Worship
