Anthology sets sights to expand portfolio to include UK towns and cities

Anthology has set out its 2021 ambitions in line with parent group Lifestory, as it announces plans to expand outside the capital.

Anthology is looking for medium-scale, mid-market opportunities of 100 homes or more, including sites with or without planning permission in urban locations across England. The business is exploring opportunities that are rich with demand for homes, complex in nature and perhaps buried in the heart of communities that are undergoing or about to embark upon the wider regeneration required in our towns and cities across the UK.

Anthology remains committed to London and the opportunities that the capital brings, however as part of the Lifestory business, which also includes two later living brands Pegasus and Renaissance, it is ideally placed to bring flexibility to planners and local communities by being able to provide multiple housing tenures within a single site.

Lifestory Group, which was launched at the end of 2019, through the merger of established later living specialists Pegasus and Renaissance with open market developer Anthology, announced wider plans to acquire sites over the next five years with the aim of creating over 5000 much needed new homes for all ages.

Whilst we are committed to expanding the Anthology brand and product outside the capital, we are equally keen to grow our independent retirement living portfolio through the Pegasus and Renaissance brands in communities across the country.”

Lifestory has provided 750 high-quality new homes for Londoners as well as 350 later living homes across their developments in the Capital and attractive locations in the South East. Across the South & South West and Midlands & North regions, Pegasus and Renaissance have successfully created 29 new later living communities with almost 1,100 new homes built in prominent city and town centre locations.
