Hackney Council’s Colville Estate development has been awarded a prestigious regional RIBA award and developer Anthology is proud to have been a crucial part of this regeneration with their award-winning Hoxton Press development.
Anthology worked with Hackney Council on the regeneration within the estate, and the site which was previously home to 19th Century paper and craft company, is now two striking towers providing 198 homes. The name Hoxton Press pays homage to the care and craftmanship of the Mullord Brothers craft company and the story behind the products they produced.
The RIBA award acknowledges Hackney Council’s commitment to high quality design and praises them for the appointment of a variety of developers with architectural abilities and place-making skills.
Hoxton Press was designed by renowned architects Karakusevic Carson Architects and David Chipperfield architects and comprises of two unique hexagonal towers. With the exterior being crafted from handmade red and smoky grey Belgian bricks giving a prominent appearance. The design of the development has received numerous awards, including a What House Award for Best Exterior Design, and has received coverage in international press, including the New York Times.

Hoxton Press provides a mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes, which offer balconies and roof terraces showcasing fantastic views across the City. There are a selection of one and two bedroom apartments remaining with prices currently starting at £720,000. The development also provides a large commercial space.
