Head on a wintery walk
Wrap up warm and explore some of the beautiful outdoor space in the neighbourhood. Fryent Country Park is a slice of countryside in the city, offering 103 hectares of sweeping fields, idyllic views and wildlife spotting opportunities. There is also Brent Reservoir to visit, a large oasis where eagle-eyed ramblers can spot lots of different water birds, from heron to kingfishers. The reservoir also benefits from a Site of Specific Scientific Interest status due to its unusually vast number of wetland birds and plants for an inner-city reservoir.
Treat yourself to a takeaway
Wembley is home to incredible independent food outlets covering a range of different cuisine. There are a number of vendors at BOXPARK Wembley which are available for takeaway including Smoky Boys, which serves epic burgers alongside fries and shakes, and Spoon & Rice, offering authentic Filipino street food such as grilled pork belly and glazed aubergine. A number of restaurants inside London Designer Outlet, including Wagamama, Pizza Express and Zizzi, are also available for delivery and collection.

MoreYoga Wembley Park may have had to temporarily closed its doors, but instead it has begun offering online classes to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own home. Classes are livestreamed every day or you can browse through the 3,200+ classes already available to view on the website. Whether you’re a keen yogi or complete beginner, there are classes for all experience levels and abilities. Our Wembley Parade homes all have open-plan living rooms, so there is plenty of space for you to stretch and find your inner zen!
